I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
